After a hiatus of several weeks due to the World Cup in Qatar, Ligue 1 clubs are working to represent the way to the field. A break that allowed Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier to work in depth with the squad at his disposal.

« We worked a lot during this 20-day break. It’s new for everyone, even if I believe that we were one of the clubs most represented in the World Cup. This second part will resume very quickly with two very important matches on December 28 against Strasbourg and then January 1 against Lens. We are now going to get into the preparation of the matches. We have done a lot of physical preparation work, but still with our methodology with the ball, a lot of technical work too,” the Parisian manager told PSG TV.

« It’s a first for us, coaches, to have a six-week break, with players who have been in high demand during an international competition. But we have pushed our thoughts to the maximum to allow the players to be at the top of their form as soon as the recovery », an addition Galtier.
